Article 1 – Definitions
- Terms and Conditions: these terms and conditions of Reducept B.V.
- Consumer: the natural person who downloads the Reducept app via the App Store, Google Play Store, or directly subscribes via the Reducept website and does not act in the exercise of a profession or business.
- App: the Reducept pain education app that can be used via smartphone.
- Subscription: the access pass for use of the App, subscribed via the App Store, Google Play Store, or via the Reducept website.
- Right of Withdrawal: the possibility for the Consumer to cancel the subscription within 14 days after purchase, unless use of the App has already started.
Article 2 – Identity of the entrepreneur
Article 3 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all use of the Reducept App by the Consumer.
Article 4 – License
The App is provided under license, not sold. The Consumer receives a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right of use. It is not permitted to copy, resell, or otherwise commercially use the App.
Article 5 – Prices and payment
- The prices of subscriptions are listed in the App Store, Google Play Store, or on the Reducept website (www.reducept.com).
- The Consumer pays the price that applies at the time of subscription, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
- Depending on the chosen payment method, the following applies:
- Subscription via the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store: payment is made via Apple or Google, using the payment method chosen by the Consumer with that provider. Apple or Google is also responsible for processing the payment in that case.
- Subscription directly via the Reducept website: payment is made to Reducept, via the payment methods offered on the website.
- Reducept is entitled to change prices. Any price changes will be communicated via the App Store, Google Play Store, or the Reducept website.
- In case of a price change for a recurring subscription, the Consumer has the right to cancel the subscription before the effective date of the change.
Article 6 – Subscriptions and termination
- A subscription is taken out for a month or a year and is automatically renewed, unless the Consumer cancels in time.
- Depending on the chosen payment method, the following applies:
- Subscription via the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store: cancellation is exclusively via the settings of the Consumer's Apple or Google account.
- Subscription directly via the Reducept website: cancellation can be done by the Consumer via the account settings on the Reducept website (www.reducept.com).
- Cancellation must be done at the latest before the next renewal date to avoid further costs.
Article 7 – Right of withdrawal
- The Consumer has a 14-day cooling-off period after purchase.
- As soon as the Consumer opens and starts using the App, they agree that the Right of Withdrawal expires.
Article 8 – Use of the App
- The App may only be used for personal use.
- The Consumer is responsible for the correct use of the App and the educational content contained therein.
- It is not permitted to use the App for commercial or illegal purposes.
Article 9 – Warranty and operation
- Reducept strives to ensure that the App functions correctly, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Any updates are automatically made available via the App Stores or Reducept website.
- Problems can be reported via info@reducept.com.
Article 10 – Liability and medical disclaimer
- Reducept is not a healthcare provider and the App does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
- The App is intended as an educational tool for pain education.
- In case of health complaints, the Consumer is strongly advised to consult a doctor.
- Reducept is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the App, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
Article 11 – Intellectual property
- All rights to the App, texts, logos, designs, and content belong to Reducept.
- It is not permitted to copy, modify, or distribute these without written permission.
Article 12 – Privacy
For the processing of personal data, Reducept refers to the privacy policy on www.reducept.com.
Article 13 – Complaints procedure
- Complaints can be submitted via info@reducept.com.
- Reducept responds within 14 days of receipt.
- If a complaint requires a longer processing time, the Consumer will receive a confirmation with an expected response time.
Article 14 – Applicable law and competent court
- Only Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions.
- Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Article 15 – Priority of English text
In case of translations, the English version of these terms and conditions takes precedence.
